Your Right to Anonymity

The right to anonymity of an individual is secured by constitutional clauses and universal declarations. Every person has the right to be safeguarded against unlicensed and unnecessary interference of the government in his/her affairs, documents and belongings that are personal and private in nature.

This right is protected by the United States Bill of Rights. As per Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted and proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations, "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks."

The right to anonymity includes right to online anonymity too. This right is guarded by proxy scripts that conceal a surfer's IP and keep his/her identity anonymous.
